True North Maple Leaf Hockey Hoodie. Rooted in the spirit of sport, art, and community, the True North Hoodie draws inspiration from the official Team Canada 2026 designs. Created in collaboration with Shelby Gagnon, a 2-Spirit Anishinaabe/Cree artist from Aroland First Nation who has lived in Thunder Bay for most of her life, this piece reflects the connection between land, story, and sport, a wearable expression of Canada’s creative landscape.
The hummingbird featured on the left shoulder embodies perseverance, endurance, and belief — a reminder to face challenges with lightness and strength. Its story celebrates action, resilience, and the pursuit of dreams, mirroring the journey of every athlete striving toward greatness. As our proudest design yet, this hoodie unites comfort, performance, and meaningful storytelling in a piece made to honour both heritage and sport.
This hoodie features a hockey jersey–inspired silhouette with a jersey-lined hood, contrast striping on the sleeves, and contrast taping at the back neck and hem vents for an elevated athletic finish. The maple leaf textured patch is crafted using layered twill and chenille to capture the richness and depth of the land, adding dimensional artistry to a nationally iconic symbol. The kangaroo pocket includes a hidden phone compartment for functionality, while the adjustable hockey lace neckline brings authentic game-day character.

The maple leaf patch is beautiful and the overall design combination of hockey and curling matches my reality. I wear it as my curling warmup and constantly receive compliments from all my club members. The weight of the material is lighter than expected for the price point. It works well for me and my needs. I want it to last so it will be carefully worn and gently used. Definitely more fashionable than functional, proudly worn regardless.

I found that I was between sizes so ordered the larger to be safe. The fit is pretty good but the sleeves are definitely too long. I love the maple leaf logo. I was disappointed that the humming bird logo was not on the back of the top as it is on the crew neck. However, there is an humming bird logo on the sleeve. The fabric is light weight so if you're looking for a warm hoodie this isn't it. At $139,99 it's pricey and not the best value for money but that's not really why you're buying it ;).

Looks like very good quality. The small pocket with the velcro closure inside the pouch is a great idea. Used sizing chart and it fits perfectly.

When I saw Brad Gushue wearing this hoodie, I knew I had to have it. The fabric is such good quality, the tape around the neckline, and the velcro pocket inside the larger kangaroo pocket are nice details. The art work in this collection is beautiful. Proud to wear this piece of clothing. Many compliments.

Shrunk 2 sizes down and the leaf in the center curls up after a wash. Looks cool but wish there were more color options

I ordered this for both my husband and I. The bunnyhug is great. We love the fit and style. The sizing is very close to normal and the quality is great.

Fantastic hoodie. Love the design. Fits well with the exception that the sleeves are a little long. Over all, very happy with the purchase.

I really do like this hoodie, a lot. Several review mention the sizing, and at first I agreed and thought the sleeves were a bit long and it fit a bit big, but after washing it I think it must have shrunk just enough that I would now consider it true to size. I haven't had something that wasn't pre-shrunk before, but I guess this hoodie just isn't pre-shrunk and needs a run through the washer & dryer!

Great Canadian-Made Sweater

Great looking sweater made with quality that you can feel. The price point is a bit steep but is worth it to know that you are getting a quality product made right here in Canada that directly supports Canadians. I matched up to a medium on the size chart and it fits perfectly. The material is soft and the maple leaf crest is robust. Everyone who sees me with it, wants to know where I got it.

Love the sweater, the quality is great. However, there needs to be a choice for women and men. We are built differently and the sleeves are super long and then it’s tight across the chest. Need to have a choice.

I love the hoodie. I was a bit disappointed that the indigenous art that is on the back of the other hoodies was not on the back of this one. When I was ordering I was trying to see what was on the back but I could not find a way to see the back.
