Details

The Goldline antislider, slip on gripper, is made from a rubber composition specially formulated to provide traction on ice. The antislider is commonly used over the slider foot and removed only during delivery.

The antislider is an important piece of equipment. It gives you traction and therefore stability on your slider foot. The only time it is usually taken off is during delivery. The rubber used in Goldline antisliders is specially formulated to provide traction on ice, while at the same time being durable and affording longevity.

Goldline antisliders are available in two models, a regular width version and a wide version that fits Quantum and G50 shoes. The sizing chart is based on our "wide" grippers and is recommended for most people. Please also note that Regular antisliders tend to be more narrow in the heel.

If you are matching up to an existing shoe, here are the measurements for our antisliders:

supurb service

Had purchased an extra large gripper to replace the one that was failing noticed that the goldline emblem was coming off ( bits of rubber) after only a few games contacted the company Joel Krats responded an sorted out the problem. What I thought was a manufacturing issue turned out to be the gripper being one size to small. Everything is working fine

We bought several grippers over this past curling season and all were excellent in quality. Hope to buy many more next season.

good solid grip, a little tight on the width when putting back on the shoe

Yes it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Disappointing

JTS| 11/12/2023 12:43 PM

After the first day the gripper never really fit and after 3 weeks, it has worn significantly in the heel. Would have expected more. The shoes are great but the gripper has disappointed.

RESPONSE: Hi JTS, sorry to hear you've had problems with your gripper. If you haven't done so already, please reach out to us at store@goldlinecurling.com so we can assist with a replacement.

Gripper size

JC Larocque| 11/23/2023 5:49 AM

Your medium wide gripper is too tight for my 9.5 shoe size and large is too big

Sizing does not make sense

Ashley| 12/3/2023 6:36 AM

I purchased these grippers for my daughter’s curling shoes. I ordered these XS small grippers online and they were too small. I then purchased a size S Goldline gripper from Sportcheck and it is too big. I am very confused and disappointed about this. I have followed the sizing chart guidelines and neither of these grippers fit my daughter’s shoe.

RESPONSE: Thank you for your feedback, Ashley. Our best guess is that you ordered XS, Regular from our website, but would have bought Small, Wide from Sportchek. The wide and regular have very different sizing. If you contact our customer service we would be happy to help with an exchange.

Gripping is great

We have bought many of these grippers for our curling members at the Allenford Curling club and they all love the true grip they provide.

Stock pro shop gripper

Main gripper that I stock in my pro shop. Fits most shoes well.

Order per length not shoe size

Order a size up. Mine was too small.

Need to replace gripper more often

Joel S| 1/26/2024 5:12 PM

Gripper was a very nice upgrade to my very old and worn out one that should have been replace along time ago. Not sure why curlers don't replace them more often as it makes such a difference.

Wicked Wide

Vickie| 1/27/2024 9:00 AM

Nice grippers but very, very wide. You need duck feet to wear these. I tried to give them away but they were too wide for anyone in the club.

Med is too small for 8.5 quantum shoes

What changed?

Chris| 5/22/2024 8:00 AM

In truth, I'm confused. I ordered the same sized gripper that I always use, and they arrived with a little L inside, so I assume they are Large, as I expected. However, it is nigh impossible to pull them onto my Goldline shoes. Has the sizing changed? Are these defective? Do they supposedly stretch to fit over time? It kills the momentum of the game if I have to spend forever fighting my gripper to get it on or off.

RESPONSE: Hi Chris! I had a look, and it appears you ordered a "Regular" width, Large gripper this time. My best guess is that you used to have a "Wide" Large previously, as the regulars are shorter than the wides (we're working on correcting this). I'll have my customer service team get in touch to help you out with a replacement!

Fits like a glove

Ella| 8/30/2024 9:41 AM

Fits like a gloves, sometimes it does slip off but most of the time it’s great

Great product, size guide perfect.

David| 10/27/2024 8:17 AM

As someone with larger and wide (12.5E) feet, finding a gripper that fit my shoe was important to a good curling experience. While the fit of this product at the largest size is a little tight, that just makes it more secure and doesn't compromise the comfort of the shoes I bought to curl in.

Gripper

Darrell farant| 11/6/2024 12:43 PM

The gripper i received was to replace my original one wide extra large but it seems to be a couple mm shorter it still works but with more effort

Grippers run small

David| 11/6/2024 1:29 PM

The extra larger gripper to replace the gripper that came with my shoes when I bought them was not even close to the same size. I then ordered a double x and that is still very tight. I had to pay another round of shipping.

RESPONSE: Sorry you're having trouble with the sizing of the grippers, David! Please keep in mind that the Regular width grippers are a full size smaller than the Wide grippers. If you use a Wide Extra Large and wanted to move to a Regular width, you'd have to size up to XXL as well.
